Matching Gift Programs

When sending in a donation, ask your company if they have a matching gift program. If they do, send in the paperwork for us to fill out. The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation does not always fall into the categories of giving for each company but more often we do. If so, your gift will double in its support power!

Dress Down Fridays

One family asked if The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation could be the recipient of their Dress Down Friday funds. We thought this was such a great idea! If you company does not have this set up, ask them if they would. Here is how it works. What it entails is each month of the year, they had a charity chosen to receive the total of numerous $5 donations from each employee who wanted to ‘dress down’ on Friday to help a cause. Even if your company did not want to do this monthly, they could do it once a year and send the proceeds to the Foundation. We recommend choosing December since December is International TTTS Awareness Month. You could combine this event with information about the cause in a small article in the company newsletter or any other company communication they might have.

Company Sponsorship to Events (Financial and In-kind)

If you look at the Fundraisers section, we do have several events that companies could help sponsor such as Conor’s Run, the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, numerous golf outings and our annual campaign letter. Sponsorship could be financial such as covering the costs of the following: space at Twins Days or supplies that we need, Conor’s Runs Shirts (This event is 500 participants growing each year), printing and sending Federal Express of all of our parent and doctor TTTS books or annual letter or newsletters. These are just a few ideas of how your company might want to get involved.
